Jiffy Pickup
This unusual Mini variant had a number of body options, this being the pickup version. It uses the Mini subframe, power train and suspension at the front, and semi-eliptical leaf springs at the back. The fibreglass cab takes the Mini controls and instrumentation.


Jiffy Romahome
This 1984 Jiffy was built by Mechanical Services of Bolton who later became Indespension, the trailer manufacturers. The chassis was lengthened to accept the Romahome body which was fixed and provided through access to the cab (a demountable body was offered on the Honda Acty chassis). The bench seats can be linked to form a good sized double bed!

ADO34 MG Mini Prototype
Designed as a possible replacement for the MG Midget, ADO34 used Mini subframes and Mini Cooper 'S' mechanicals. The body was styled in Italy by Pininfarina

Midas Bronze
Designed by Richard Oakes, the Midas was originally built by D & H Fibreglass Techniques Limited at Oldham, Lancs., following on from the Mini Marcos Mk. IV in 1981. The company later moved to Corby as Midas Cars Ltd.
The Mk. I, which became the "Bronze", was Mini-based: other models used the Metro subframes and running gear.

ASD Minim

Mini Michelotti Prototypes
Built by Michelotti in Italy as a possible replacement for the MG Midget, this car was in fact styled at Longbridge. It is based on a Mini 1275 GT with hydrolastic suspension and Targa-style removable roof panels.

Nimbus
The Nimbus is a two-seater, mid-engined coupé designed to take the Mini front subframe, suspension and engine mounted at the back. The front suspension is Vauxhall Viva and the windscreen is from a Ford Escort Mk.II. The shell is a GRP monocoque reinforced with kevlart at the stress points. It was built by Custom Moulds in Andover, Hants.
