This unique and well-known, Lagonda 4-door prototype was created in 1969 for the personal use of Aston Martin Chairman, Sir David Brown, and represented the first use of the Lagonda name since the demise of the Lagonda Rapide in 1964. Seven sought after production models with the single headlight followed in 1974-6
This Lagonda remained registered with the factory until after Sir David Brown's departure in 1972.
The next owner, an avid Aston Martin Lagonda collector, bought the car directly from the factory
